The Canonical Scripture: Act 2.11

New that Sangje was practicing Holy Works began to spread throughout the region. The Primordial Hill (Gobu) Constanbulary heard the news. They believed Sangje was a deluder who was learning black magic, so they went to arrest Him. Sangje knew in advance that they were coming and sat out by the road wearing a satgat (cone-shaped hat) while creating a dense fog. The constables just passed by Him because they did not recognize Him in the fog.

　상제께서 공부하시는 소문이 그 지방에 전해지자 고부(古阜) 경무청은 상제께서 요술공부를 한다 하여 붙잡으려고 순검들을 보내오니 상제께서는 순검이 오는 것을 미리 아시고 삿갓을 쓰고 길가에 나가서 안개를 짓고 앉아 계셔도 순검들이 몰라보고 지나가곤 하였도다.
