The Canonical Scripture: Act 2. 16

One day, Sangje said, "I am Maitreya. The 16-foot-high golden icon (yukjang-geumshin 六丈金身) enshrined in the Maitreya Hall of Golden Mountain Temple (Geumsan-sa), held the Cintamani Stone (Wish-fulfilling Stone) with his hand, but I have one in My mouth." When Sangje showed His lower lip to His disciples, there was a red spot on its inside, and His countenance appeared to them as that of the golden icon of Maitreya at Golden Mountain Temple. Completing the picture, between His two eyebrows were white twinkling bead-shaped hairs (Baekhoju 白호珠) and on His left palm was the character 壬 (Im) and on His right the character 戊 (Mu).

그리고 상제께서 어느 날에 가라사대 “나는 곧 미륵이라. 금산사(金山寺) 미륵전(彌勒殿) 육장금신(六丈金神)은 여의주를 손에 받았으되 나는 입에 물었노라”고 하셨도다. 그리고 상제께서 종도들에게 아래 입술을 내어 보이시니 거기에 붉은 점이 있고 상제의 용안은 금산사의 미륵금신과 흡사하시며 양미간에 둥근 백호주(白毫珠)가 있고 왼 손바닥에 임(壬) 자와 오른 손바닥에 무(戊) 자가 있음을 종도들이 보았도다.
