A Theater Major from Daejin University’s Theater and Cinema Department Won Awards at Hyundai Motor Group’s University Theater and Musical Festival

Theater majors from Daejin University’s Theater and Cinema Department received the Grand Prize and Park Joo-Hyeong, who entered Daejin in 2016, received the Creative Arts Award at Hyundai Motor Group’s University Theater and Musical Festival.

The piece they performed, titled The Harmonium in My Memory, is a story that revolves around a new teacher, Kang Dong-Su, a new graduate from a teacher's college who has been assigned to a school in the countryside, and Choi Hong-Yeon, a late bloomer student.

The award-winning piece of the festival was planned and prepared entirely by students, and it was performed by 21 actors and 20 staff members made up of 1st through 4th year students.
